Clamping and load capacity

Two ball sizes with different holding forces. The maximum load (at the height of the threaded pin) is approx. 45 kg for a ball diameter of 40 mm and approx. 140 kg for a ball diameter of 60 mm. The maximum torque in the ball socket is approx. 24 Nm for a ball diameter of 40 mm and approx. 100 Nm for a ball diameter of 60 mm.

The clamping in the ball socket is done via the lever on the side and can be readjusted yourself if necessary (instructions are included). You decide yourself about the ball mobility. The ball is lightly greased when it is mounted in the tapered socket to ensure that it moves smoothly. By degreasing the ball, you increase the maximum holding force or clamping force.

In the case of safety-relevant parts, please note that we cannot guarantee the holding forces without knowing your specific application. The ball can behave differently under various physical conditions than in our test laboratory with an optimal test environment.

Our product development is constantly working on the optimization and further development of our ball joint holders. We would be happy to inform you in a personal conversation.
